The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, today received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Somalia, H.E. Mr. Wang Yu, at his office in Mogadishu.
The meeting focused on ways to further strengthen the historic relations and cooperation between the two nations.
Prime Minister Hamza expressed his gratitude to the Government of China for its continued support to Somalia, particularly in the areas of cooperation, security, economic development, and humanitarian assistance.
For his part, Ambassador Wang Yu underlined China’s commitment to deepening its partnership with Somalia, noting the importance of expanding cooperation across key sectors that serve the mutual interests of both countries.
