The Somali Military Court this morning executed by firing squad Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, known as “Maaxi Yoonis,” and Ibrahim Adan Maadey, Al-Shabaab militants who had previously been sentenced to death.
The two were members of Al-Shabaab units responsible for ambushes and assassinations in Mogadishu, where they carried out targeted killings against prominent members of the community.
