The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, attended the official opening session of the Second Africa Climate Summit held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. At the summit, the President delivered remarks outlining Somalia’s priorities under the Somalia Climate Resilience and Green Growth Pathway.
The President emphasized the importance of the Government’s bold agenda for climate adaptation, increasing renewable energy and sustainable water management, and mobilizing climate finance to strengthen resilience.
