Somalia and Turkey Set to Open today largest Military Camp in Somalia

Somali president Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo and the head of the Turkish military will attend today ceremony opening of military camp which Turkish government builded in Somalia.

Somalia officials and Turkish officials will take part in the closure of the Turkish government building in Mogadishu.

The base is 3 km from Mogadishu and is built on the coastline of Jazeera.
Beautiful pictures showing the beauty of the Turkish military base building on the outskirts of Mogadishu has been found for the first time.

The base has the capacity to train more than 1,500 troops at a time, according to the Somali government.

The facility — Turkey’s largest overseas military base — is spread out over 4 square kilometers (1.54 square miles).

More than 200 Turkish military personnel will come to the facility to train the Somali Armed Forces and provide security to the compound, according to the Turkish mission in Somalia.
Security was tight as both of them heads to do the job.
